Parts of Russian-occupied Ukraine experienced mass power cuts on Wednesday night after what Kremlin-backed security services there are calling “a massive drone attack“.
Balitsky Evgeniy, the Governor of the Russian-occupied Zaporizhia region, told his followers on Telegram: “A massive terrorist attack by enemy UAVs on populated areas of the Zaporizhia region is being recorded.
At least five explosions were recorded over Melitopol, and an attempt was made to attack an electrical substation. Part of Melitopol, Primorsk, Energodar, and Akimovka are temporarily without power supply.
“Emergency crews will begin restoration work after the situation stabilises.”
