Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched another “massive” drone attack on Ukraine in one of the largest attacks since the war began.
The offensive included 298 drones and 69 missiles, killing 12 people.
Ukraine’s first Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who described the bombardment as “another night of terror”, said “Russia’s targets are clear: homes, families, children”.
US President Donald Trump hit back at the attacks from Putin, stating that he is “not happy” with the Russians’ actions.

Trump called Putin “absolutely crazy”, adding: “What the hell happened to him? He’s killing a lot of people.”
The US President also said: “He’s killing a lot of people… I’m not happy about that. He’s sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don’t like it at all.”
Trump’s response comes after the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, released a statement putting pressure on the White House to stand up to the Kremlin.
It said: “America’s silence, and the silence of others in the world, only encourages Putin.”
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
The US President has suggested that the way Zelensky talks does “his country no favours.”
Trump wrote: “Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don’t like it, and it better stop.”
Zelensky has called for further sanctions against Russia, stating: “Each such terrorist attack by Russia is a sufficient reason for new sanctions against Russia.”
He added: “Determination matters now – the determination of the United States, the determination of European countries, and all those in the world who want peace.”

When questioned about whether America would increase its sanctions on Russia, Trump replied: “Absolutely.”
The attacks come after Russia and Ukraine completed the biggest prisoner exchange since the war began, and a two-hour phone call between Putin and Trump.
Ukraine and Russia concluded the “1,000 for 1,000” prisoner exchange over the weekend, following the final 303 Ukrainian captives being released.
After the two-hour-long phone call between Trump and Putin, the Russian President said a ceasefire with Ukraine is “possible”.
The Kremlin said that Moscow is ready to work with Ukraine on a memorandum about future peace talks.
