I just wrote in my last story that people on the left need to be looking in the mirror and setting aside their divisive rhetoric, rather than trying to spin false narratives that the accused assassin of Charlie Kirk wasn’t a leftist.
However, some seem to be having a hard time, as we’ve seen, with many on the left cheering, or allegedly saying/doing disgraceful things over the issue.
Now add one more disgraceful act. A man was arrested Sunday morning in Phoenix, Arizona, for allegedly attacking a community memorial to Charlie Kirk outside of Turning Point USA headquarters. That didn’t go over well with the people there. According to Fox’s Matt Finn, he was “taken to the ground by onlookers” after allegedly “kicking over the flowers, vases and flags and balloons.”

Local news had more information:
The memorial was made by community members to remember late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, co-founder of the nonprofit political organization, who was assassinated while speaking at a Utah university earlier this week.
The suspect, later identified as 19-year-old Ryder Corral, was detained by witnesses until he was taken into custody by responding officers. There were no serious injuries.
The man now faces possible charges of criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
He also appeared to be wearing the same type of shirt that the alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, had been wearing. That understandably had a lot of people talking.

Who would do such a thing? This is where we are at now. Police may want to ask about why he was wearing that shirt.
But the memorials will not be stopped. They have been cropping up across the country and the world, including London and Vienna.

A big public service is planned for September 21 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It’s the home of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, and normally holds 63,400 people but can be expanded to 73,000 for “mega-events.” President Donald Trump is expected to attend.

More than the physical memorials and the events, what Kirk inspired is not going to be stomped out. Here’s what Turning Point said.
“Charlie died doing what he loved: fighting for truth, for faith, for family, and for America. His sacrifice will endure as a guiding light for generations,” as noted in the tribute. “He showed a generation that truth must never be silenced, that courage is contagious, and that freedom must be protected at all costs.”
