This is the moment GB News presenter Ben Leo read out a text from a student at Brown University to his mother during Saturday’s mass shooting.
Ben, a father-of-two, was covering the latest developments from the school when he revealed the 14-word message.
“Mum, there’s a live shooting on campus. I’m going to run. I love you,” the student had said.
Two people had died and eight more had been critically wounded in the shooting by the early hours of Sunday morning.
The gunman remains at large.
