The White House appeared to respond to rumors that either President Donald Trump’s Attorney General Pam Bondi or FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino was out following the Department of Justice’s announcement about no Epstein “client list.”
“President Trump has assembled a highly qualified and experienced law and order team dedicated to protecting Americans, holding criminals accountable, and delivering justice to victims,” a statement on Friday from White House principal deputy press secretary Harrison Fields read, per Semifor White House Correspondent Shelby Talcott.

“This work is being carried out seamlessly and with unity,” the statement added. “Any attempt to sow division within this team is baseless and distracts from the real progress being made in restoring public safety and pursuing justice for all.”
The post followed one from The Daily Wire’s White House Correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan, who wrote on X, “BREAKING: Source close to Dan Bongino tells me it’s either him or Pam Bondi, and that he won’t stay at FBI if she stays at DOJ.”
A second post read, “Confirming this from @ShelbyTalcott, per source close to Bongino: ‘Bongino, in particular, one source said, is frustrated that the DOJ, at the start of this week, declared the Epstein case effectively closed and determined that the accused sex trafficker died by suicide while awaiting trial, with few further details shared. He wants more documents unsealed, the source added.”

“MORE: Source close to DOJ says [FBI Director] Kash Patel also wants Pam Bondi gone, and that he’d consider leaving if Bongino leaves. Also that, there are more frustrations with other documents Bondi hasn’t released,” a third post read.
Olohan also posted the WH statement Friday and wrote on X that “NEW: Source close to DOJ leadership tells me ‘Deputy Attorney General Blanche, Kash Patel, and Dan Bongino started drafting the released [Epstein] memo in early July and worked on it through July 4 weekend. After providing some edits, Kash and Dan signed off on the strategy and contents. Director Patel wrote that the memo was ‘good with FBI.”

As RedState reported earlier this week, the host of the Sirius XM “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast broke down why she thinks Bondi’s “days are numbered” following the DOJ announcement that no Epstein client list exists and that he committed suicide in 2019.
Megyn Kelly Breaks Down Why She Thinks Pam Bondi’s’ Days Are Numbered’
The podcast host and her guests discussed Bondi’s past messaging on Epstein compared to her latest ones after the release of the report from the DOJ.
You’ve got the Bondi statements over and over,” Kelly said. “The one saying, she didn’t say the files on my desk. She was asked specifically about the client list, and she said, ‘It’s on my desk right now.’ Then, a week later, she promised Jesse Waters she was about to dump some sort of information dump that we were all going to be really interested in.
The next day was the influencer debacle at the White House where, for some reason, she invited some of the president’s most loyal supporters and tried to humiliate them by giving them Epstein filemarked binders, which had nothing new in them,” she added. “It was all publicly released information that had already been out there. Then, she acted indignant. ‘She didn’t know,’ ‘it was the sleazy FBI who had withheld the real documents from her.’ She was going to get to the bottom of it.
She said further release would come. One did not come,” Kelly continued. “Then she was caught on tape saying there are tens of thousands of kiddy porn or child pornography material that we found. Which again is like a third issue over here. And next thing we know, there’s no there there.
