Actually, we all do. Not a day goes by without legal issues playing a prominent role in current events. But it is not easy for people who are not lawyers–the sensible majority!–to get clear explanations of, or sound commentary on, legal issues. That is why Ilan Wurman, law professor at the University of Minnesota, and Center of the American Experiment have launched a new podcast called rationally BASED.
Lawyers will get the reference, while use of the term “based” is intentional. The podcast comes at legal issues from a conservative (or, as young people say, based) perspective.
Ilan is joined on the podcast by Kathryn Johnson and Grace Keating, who host the American Experiment podcast. Our hope is that teaming them up with Ilan will make rationally BASED fun as well as informative. rationally BASED launched this morning; this video clip introduces it:
Episode 1 is titled Swarm of Harpies:
You can subscribe to the rationally BASED podcast on YouTube or on Spotify or Apple podcasts. You can also follow rationally BASED on Twitter.
Clear, conservative and entertaining explication of legal issues in the news. It’s a revolutionary concept!
