Wizz Air announces a new daily route to a sunny Spanish city

Wizz Air has unveiled a brand-new daily service connecting London Gatwick with Valencia, which is great news for sun-seekers.

The budget carrier announced flights to the Spanish coastal city will kick off on March 29, 2026, perfectly timed just before the summer holiday rush.

Even better, return tickets will start from just £40, making it a bargain for anyone looking to jet off for a Mediterranean getaway.

Bookings are already live on the Wizz Air website and mobile app, so keen travellers can snap up their seats right now.

This Valencia route marks Wizz Air’s sixth new Spanish destination for 2026, giving holidaymakers more ways to enjoy the sun.

The low-cost carrier has already revealed plans for flights from London Luton to Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Seville, cementing its spot as a go-to option for affordable Spanish travel.

As for Valencia itself, it’s easy to see why people can’t resist. Sitting on Spain’s southeastern coast, the city boasts gorgeous sandy beaches, delicious authentic cuisine and bags of historic charm.

Thanks to its Mediterranean climate, visitors can enjoy warm temperatures and sunshine throughout the year.

The new route forms part of Wizz Air’s £12billion Customer First transformation plan, which aims to grow the airline’s UK operations and link passengers with more destinations across Europe and beyond.
