A Black lesbian woman, who said she was barred from a Los Angeles Gold’s Gym after making a complaint about a creepy encounter with a trans-identifying male in the women’s locker room, confronted a radical LGBTQ lawmaker who’s responsible for many of the state’s biology-defying laws during a town hall Monday night.
Singer Tish Hyman confronted California state Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco), who’s running to replace retiring Rep. Nancy Pelosi, and was promptly shushed and tsk-tsk’d by the white male moderator, Mission Local managing editor Joe Eskenazi.
As Hyman wrote on X, she had the “chance to have a conversation with Sen. Wiener. It was an honest one. I am hopeful that this is the first of many conversations we will have regarding women’s safety.”

“Sen. Wiener said he likes working with fresh young people and that he is open to ideas,” she added. “And I’ve got plenty, Scott!”
In the clip, Hyman said that she was “attacked at Gold’s Gym this week by a self-identifying trans woman with a documented history of domestic violence.”
She tried desperately to explain her concern for women’s safety in women’s spaces and to point out that his stance his dangerous for women and that women have the right to protect themselves.
Wiener: “We want, I mean, everyone to be safe. And we also know that we have trans people, both men and women, who are men and women. So, if you are — trans women are women.”
Hyman pushed back, stating that “millions of women are being harassed and sexually assaulted in locker rooms.”
“I’m a lesbian black woman. I am not transphobic. I am not homophobic…but I do see a lot of these bills that you passed that are dangerous for young women and children,” Hyman said. “I’m telling you first and foremost, as a woman, this is dangerous.”
“Are you going to protect women? Not trans women; women/women,” she added. “Trans women are different thing.”
It was then that those in the room turned on her and attacked her for not going along with their fantasy that trans women are women. She had to defend her comments as a member of Wiener’s security detail approached her, explaining that the man whom she said attacked her in the locker room had been convicted of assaulting his ex-wife, as RedState reported.
But Weiner stuck to his insanity and used language like “women and cis women” to claim that trans-identifying men need to be protected.
She eventually agreed to leave the event because the loonies in the room couldn’t handle the truth she was saying.
Video surfaced on X of what happened, and people like Megyn Kelly and more slammed Weiner’s response.

As she walked out the door she spotted another black woman and told her, “Don’t let them use our blackness and our civil rights as a reason to pass weird laws for children to transform. It’s wrong.” Then she pointed out another bit of Golden State lunacy, telling the audience that her sister, who’s in jail, doesn’t have adequate access to tampons or soap, but can get free “transformation medication.”
Given this man’s possible role in Congress, he is dangerous. Period.
