An American idiot abroad | Power Line

There are only about four weeks left in the 2026 legislative session in Minnesota. The state is a basket case, overrun with fraud and people tripping over themselves fleeing for better locales.

What is the state’s chief executive up to? From The Hill newspaper,

Walz in Spain rips ‘feeble-minded’ Trump, Vance over Iran war.

The Hill reports,

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) issued sharp criticism against President Trump over his administration’s military operations against Iran at the inaugural Global Progressive Mobilization conference in Barcelona on Saturday.

Like Minnesota, Spain is ruled by a far-left government that has turned the once-proud nation into the basket case of Europe: overrun by both corruption and by newly-legalized illegal immigrants.

I fully expect the remnants of the Spanish navy to close the Strait of Gibraltar in solidarity with the Iranians within the next 30 days. As for this conference,

The conference hosted a variety of progressive speakers from across the globe on Friday and Saturday with the shared goal to “defend democracy and advance social justice.” Over 40 countries were represented at the inaugural event this year.

I’ve been to Barcelona. It’s a beautiful and ancient city that deserves better than the likes of Tim Walz or this annual gathering featuring American idiots,

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) also spoke at the conference, and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) virtually addressed the attendees in pre-recorded videos.

Walz trotted out the “f” word (fascism) and otherwise made a spectacle of himself.
