A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the Golders Green arson attack after being recognised by police when attending a hearing for the three other suspects.
On Saturday morning Metropolitan police arrested a 19-year-old man at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in relation to the ongoing investigating after three ambulances were set alight in Golders Green on March 23.
Whilst in attendance of the hearing of three other suspects, officers recognised the man, who was suspected to be involved in the arson attack.
He was arrested on suspicion of arson, with the intent of endangering life and has been bailed until May.
This is the latest development in the case, with two men and a teenage boy have already been charged over the incident that saw three Jewish-community-run ambulances being destroyed in the arson attack.
Hamza Iqbal, 20, and Rehan Khan, 19, both British nationals from Leyton, east London, have been charged with arson being reckless as to whether life would be endangered.
A 17-year-old boy, a dual British and Pakistani national from Walthamstow who cannot be named due to his age, has also been charged.
They were all arrested on April 1, at different locations in east London and officers from Counter Terrorism Policing London have carried out searches at their addresses.
