TPUSA reporter Savanah Hernandez was assaulted by members of the Ostroushko family at the Whipple Federal Building this past weekend. Ms. Hernandez was covering the protest against ICE. The Ostroushkos were part of the “resistance” mob protesting the presence of ICE in the Twin Cities. The Star Tribune has routinely glorified the mob in stories and columns over the past several months.
One such story introduced us to the obese thug Chris Ostroushko as a “suburban dad” doing his part for the cause of illegal immigration. That’s not how the Star Tribune put it, but that’s what it’s all about. Ostroushko participated in the assault on Ms. Hernandez this past Saturday.
We’ve been following the story of the assault mostly through the silence of the Star Tribune. As of this morning, the Star Tribune hasn’t mentioned the names of the Ostroushkos or its past glorification of the “suburban dad” who thumped the young lady on Saturday. The sole story it has run maintained a discreet silence.
The Star Tribune is more interested in covering Time’s recognition of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as one of the 100 most influential people of 2026. The linked Star Tribune story highlights Frey’s vocal opposition to ICE during Metro Surge. Along with the Star Tribune, he supports illegal immigration.
By the way, Time quotes Frey as seeking to show “that we can have Democratically run cities that can work.” If you seek to show that we can have Democratically run cities that work, don’t come to Minneapolis. The tax base is shrinking. Real estate taxes are skyrocketing. The Minneapolis Police Department is so understaffed that it is noncompliant with the city charter. Frey is among the local authorities who are a joke.
Ms. Hernandez has legitimately become national news. Media inlcuding Fox News, the Daily Wire, Glenn Beck, the New York Post, and Blaze TV have reached out to her for interviews. In the post below she apologizes for canceling scheduled interviews with named outlets. Conspicuous by its absence is, well, do I have to say it?
I was scheduled for multiple media interviews today, but I canceled all of them.
Yesterday, after my interviews I felt drained and realize I need time to recover.
I’ve been dealing with headaches, dizziness and lightheadedness and was informed by a doctor that I do have a…

In each of my comments on the assault I have disparaged the local authorities as a joke. I believe that federal jurisdiction extends to the scene of the attack and that help is on the way — from federal law enforcement.
In the post below Ms. Hernandez regrets the nonfeasance of the local authorities in the matter of Mrs. Ostroushko. In a linked post, she adds, “Just to clarify, Paige (the daughter and most violent of the 3) and her father Chris are facing misdemeanor assault charges. But somehow Deyanna is not being recommended for charges despite being caught on camera attacking me alongside her daughter.”
UNFORTUNATE UPDATE: I found out that Deyanna Ostroushko, the woman who you see assaulting me in the video below, will NOT be charged for assaulting me on Saturday.
The Hennepin County Sheriffs department stated to me that they feel they do not have sufficient evidence to… https://t.co/2hlb0FObig

Breanna Morello adds this on X:
Hernandez is suffering from a concussion, two sprains, and multiple bruises as a result of the assault. Hernandez was assaulted by at least six people during Saturday’s protest. Deyanna Ostroushko (mother) has NOT been charged, even though video appears to show her making physical contact with Hernandez and refusing to leave her alone. Additionally, the two women who were seen assaulting Hernandez with sex toys have NOT been charged. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office tells me that this is still an active investigation….Hernandez told me that outside of the initial report, taken by the officer who ended up having to escort her to safety, that no investigators from the Sheriff’s department reached out and she had to follow up with them herself. She adds that no one has asked her about her medical records or injuries.
Despite the implication of the statements above, no one has been charged with anything at this time. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty is more likely to award citations to the Ostroushkos and the dildo brigade than to charge them. If charged, the Ostroushkos are unlikely to be punished with incarceration. The local authorities are themselves an organic part of the “resistance.” As in the segregated South, the intervention of federal law enforcement is needed here.
