The Star Tribune has yet to name the perpetrators of the attack on TPUSA reporter Savanah Hernandez at the Whipple Federal Building “resistance” protest this past Saturday. Anyone who follows the news on X knows that the ringleader of the family that protests together — protests and assaults together — is the family of Chris Ostroushko. The Star Tribune introduced Ostroushko to its readers this past January as a “suburban dad” in a rosy profile.
The Star Tribune has no follow-up on its lame story reporting the attack yesterday. Readers who get their news from the Star Tribune therefore have yet to learn that the Star Tribune’s “suburban dad” has proved a goon blindsiding a young lady doing her job.
Ostroushko’s work at Whipple this past weekend belies the Star Tribune’s presentation of the “suburban dad” in its January profile:
Ostroushko and his wife went back to Whipple several subsequent nights, more to observe than advocate. “I’m not the rah, rah, get-in-your-face, yelling-and-screaming type of person,” Ostroushko said. “I like to avoid trouble, even though I look like a person that may like to fight or something. That’s not me.”
That’s not him. He’s actually worse than that.
Minnesota has more than a few problems. One is the organized “resistance” to law enforcement and the widespread support of illegal immigration. Another is the local press celebrating it. The local press is led in the celebrations by the Star Tribune.
The New York Post covers the Hernandez assault in “Turning Point USA journo punched, shoved to ground during violent anti-ICE protest in Minn.” The Post reports: “Three people were arrested in connection to her assault, including 20-year-olds Paige Ostroushko and Lorenzo Amadeo Garcia, as well as Christopher Ostroushko, whose age wasn’t immediately clear, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.”
You heard it here first. Ostroushko is 46. The more relevant fact is that she is a woman and he is a man and the more relevant statistic is his weight. He must have a hundred pounds on Ms. Hernandez.
Like the local paper, the local authorities are a joke. If the Hennepin County Sheriff refers the perpetrators of the assault on Ms. Hernandez for prosecution, the Ostroushkos are likely to be commended for their work at Whipple by County Attorney Mary Moriarty. The family that protests together requires the attention of the federal authorities.
The victim of this weekend’s assault appeared on Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show last night. She posted the video clip below to X.
This was the first time I’ve struggled through an interview.
My friends, colleagues and I have been repeatedly attack, bloodied and beaten by the radical left-wing and they’ve only become more emboldened since the assassination of Charlie Kirk: pic.twitter.com/JDW7w5HZS4

The more footage that comes out, the worse it gets for the Ostroushko family
Here’s Chris instructing his OWN daughter to come up to me and, “Blow the whistle right in her fucking ear”

Assistant Attorney General Dhilon is on the case:
Attacks on journalists for simply doing their jobs are illegal and un-American. @TheJusticeDept’s @CivilRights will protect the fundamental right to freedom of expression—and will explore the possibility of federal charges. pic.twitter.com/XxL4A8be3X
