It was big news on X and has made the New York Post, but I can find no trace of the story in the Star Tribune: “Somali trucker busted driving wrong way down highway failed English test and couldn’t read road signs.” Following the Star Tribune stylebook, we should probably make that “Somali trucker” a “Minnesota man.” The “Somali trucker” is reportedly “Minnesota man” Abdiasis Ibrahim Ali.

It is a miracle that no one was hurt before Ali was stopped by law enforcement while rumbling the wrong way down Highway 61 near Troy, Missouri. Ali failed a Missouri roadside inspection and could not pass an English proficiency test. The owner of the truck is reportedly “Minnesota man” Abdiwali Ahmed. The CBS St. Louis affiliate has more here.
🚨 JUST IN: The foreign semi-truck driver who almost caused HEAD-ON COLLISIONS by driving the wrong direction is from a company registered in…wait for it…MINNESOTA

This story has “Minnesota” written all over it. Where is the “Minnesota” Star Tribune? The Trump administration is harshing the mellow of another “Minnesota man”! He was just trying to make a living. The Star Tribune will jump on it as soon as they have that angle figured out.
